Club Paradise Palawan Resort is on the small island of Dimakya, on the northern coast of Busuanga. It is managed by Jürgen Warnke, a German national who also manages the Maricaban Bay Marina (which is much less pleasant to stay in than Club Paradise).

Club Paradise Resort in Palawan offers a 700-meter beach of beautiful , fine white sand and its turquoise waters, which shelter a coral reef.

Part of Palawan Islands forest was preserved when the Club Paradise Palawan Resort was built, and a 30-minute walk through a path will take you up to Eagle's Point where it is possible to observe some birds, monitor lizards and, if you are lucky, a Calamian deer.


Club Paradise Palawan Resort itself is well hidden in lush tropical plants. Upon arrival at the beach, the only glimpse that can be seen is the restaurant's nipa-thatched roof. The spacious and airy restaurant, with white walls and parquet flooring, is part of the central building of the Club Paradise Resort in Palawan. It opens out to the sea. A nearby swimming pool, bordered with multi-colored bougainvillea, separates the restaurant from the Club Paradise Palawan Beach Club.

The comfortable rooms of Club Paradise Resort in Palawan are found to be in various other buildings, which vary considerably in location and styles.


15 Beachfront Fan Cottages, made of wood, bamboo, and nipa are our favorite. They are separated from the main buildings. They are surrounded by tropical plants, and have a nice view of the sea from a small terrace, which is furnished with a hammock. The interiors of the rooms are bright and pleasant. All the rooms have marble bathrooms though only two are air-conditioned.





20 Island View Air-conditioned Rooms are in a two-story building on a promontory overlooking the garden. The nicest rooms - with private terraces - are on the second floor. All rooms are spacious with big picture windows.







14 Hill Side Air-conditioned Cottages are composed of four different buildings consisting two floors with a room in each floor. The nicest rooms are n the first floor and have a good view of the ocean. However, because these rooms are quite far from the main building and can be accessed only through a rather steep stairway, they are not recommended for the elderly.

6 Deluxe Sea View Cottages are semi-detached bungalows found on Sunrise Beach on the other side of the Island. These bungalows are recommended for families as the rooms are inter-connected. However, only the rooms overlooking the beach, which is surrounded by rocks, have pleasant views. A suspended stairway leads toward the restaurant a little further away.



From Club Paradise Palawan Resort, it is possible to take a banca to the nearby islands. You can go from on golden beach to another, snorkel in lagoons encircling the islands, dive to the near by shipwrecks (the Dimalanta shipwreck can be reached in 40 minutes), or better yet, visit the Calawit Animal Reserve just and hour away. A visit to the Coron Lagoons is possible in good weather. It is not and ideal starting point, though, for this kind of excursion.Snorkeling and diving are possible from this Palawan beach itself. It is also possible to see some dugongs that frequent this area of the sea, although only on appears on  regular basis.

Location:

FROM MANILA, you can take a one-hour flight from Manila to Busuanga (YKR) via SEAIR or ASIAN SPIRIT, or a 12 hour-cruise from Manila to Coron via WGA Superferry.

FROM CORON PIER, upon reaching Coron Pier, there will be a 1-hour Jeepney ride from Coron Pier to YKR Airport (Busuanga)

FROM BUSUANGA AIRPORT (YKR), upon reaching Busuanga Island, there will be a 30-minute Jeepney ride followed by a scenic 30-minute boat ride.
