KokosNuss Garden Palawan Resort, Philippines
KokosNuss Garden Resort is the only Palawan resort facility in Coron Town. If you are looking for an "Adventuress Palawan vacation" this is it. If you are looking for such things as the best wreck dives in the Philippines, sea safaris, snorkeling and island hopping, Coron is the place for you, but don’t expect mass-tourism or five star Palawan hotels. We are proud to live at the beautiful "end of the world".
In 1991, Rudolf Weih, a German national from Grosskrotzenburg am Main, decided to end his career as a high paid Dipl. Engineer at the research & development sector of Honeywell Company. After an 8 month journey through the Palawan Archipelago he finally decided to settle down in Coron Town on Busuanga Island, and start a small tourist business. At this time, Coron was still a typical Philippines fishermen's town. There wasn’t any tourism development so far, but he saw a big potential for it. In 1992 he opened his KokosNuss Garden Resort and Restaurant with a small eatery and four cottages. In the past years tourism in Coron grew and KokosNuss Resort in Palawan expanded in size and quality.
Today, KokosNuss Palawan Resort consists of 24 individual cottages and bungalows, a large tropical garden with garden chairs and hammocks, and a delightful garden restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood and homemade specials in Asian and European style.
We are located just before the local hospital on the way into town. The 950 meter separation between "downtown" Coron and KokosNuss Garden Resort in Palawan means a QUIET, PEACEFUL and RESTFUL environment for your stay in Coron. Your neighbors at KokosNuss Garden Palawan Resort will be the trees and shrubs in the garden.
