Sabang Palawan is a small and timeless fishing village devoid of any real tourist infrastructure. The place is known by virtue of the Palawan Underground River National Park close by. But Sabang's attraction also lies in its tranquility; its superb, untamed Palawan beaches dominated by high cliffs; and its mountains covered by jungle. Several days can be devoted to a Sabang Island Palawan.

Cabayugan (9 Kilometers from Sabang) The village of Cabayugan is in a spectacular setting of cone-shaped cliffs in the middle of rice paddies. You can visit the small caves of Kawili and Lion (bring your flashlight). Unless you catch the Jeepneys at 8:00 a.m., you have to take the route on foot. Nonetheless, walking through rice paddies and forest is pleasant.
